about the farm

New Moon Farmstead is a climate neutral, diversified livestock farm that produces high quality proteins and prioritizes social and environmental sustainability, soil health, and animal welfare. 

We started farming as a way to live out our values in harmony with the landscape.  We also wanted to teach our children about the importance of hard work, responsibility, and respect for the environment.

We are excited to be a part of the local food movement and to share our farm with others.

We believe that good food grows good communities, and that through careful stewardship of our land and animals, abiding care for our employees, and connection with our community we can build a more just future.

New Moon Farmstead is climate neutral. This means that we carefully manage our land and our farming practices so that we sequester more greenhouse gasses than we produce.
